Naked UNbrella - Yanko Design
Hey, Allow me just say I give props to anyone out there thinking dark-green and trying to make the earth a amend place through design. That being said, mad props to designer Shiu Yuk Yuen. She is out in that location fighting the adept fight, and her latest blueprint inspiration may be a bit of a mis-fire(in my opinion), but still deserves to be dissected, praised or criticized with the all-time of them. Her "Eco-Brolly" umbrella blueprint might be more aptly named an UNbrella. This "UNbrella" blueprint has you lot running to find some um… protection, when you demand it the nigh. The thought was to reuse discarded newspapers as the awning for your umbrella skeleton, therefore making this design "greenish." My only issue with this is that if you can't observe a discarded newspaper, yous are left just wet, not light-green. Issue two for me, I am e'er using my umbrella to interruption my fall when jumping off of edifice or falling from the sky, or on my style to piece of work babysitting British children…this just won't do the fox. This umbrella can re-employ and adapt objects such as newspaper, card, and plastic bag and turn it into an umbrella. Information technology can re-use whatever the consumer thinks of reusing. It is a supporting devise when it rains, all the user has to practise is unscrew the meridian chapeau, poke the lid onto the middle of the paper, quick spiral to secure information technology & open it out like an umbrella!
Information technology is used for short distances, but it can be used longer, by clipping the clips at each end of the umbrella onto the newspaper to stabilise it. It is pocket size, lightweight aluminium, suitable for Britain, where the conditions is unpredictable, especially for Primal Londoners, where free paper is available.
